The New England Queer People of Color (QPOC) Conference strives to provide visibility, liberation, and empowerment for queer-identifying people of color in the North East Region of the United States. It will provide resources, tools, spaces, and dialogue rooted in the social and political intersections of our experiences. This affinity space surfaced from a desire within the QPOC community to address a lack of visible support on campus and in the New England community.

The New England QPOC conference and its organizing committee will be QPOC- led; active QPOC leadership serves as a catalyst for the affirmation and empowerment of our broader QPOC community. Non-QPOC allies committed to an anti-oppressive space where QPOC experiences are at the forefront, are welcome as volunteers and supporters. This approach further models allyship and solidarity across identities, which are necessary tools for social change.
